I support the ordination of women because I firmly believe that when it comes to interpreting scripture what some see as white others see as black and vice versa. In any case I believe that scripture was written based on mores and customs relevant at the time, in other words to the then existing audience. Our situation here in Australia is completely different.

In this day and age we should be begging women to be ordained given that they can go to places where men can’t and shouldn’t.
